ABC National Award Banquet: A Night to Remember

Oneok Field - Tulsa, OKIt may not have been the Oscar’s, but the Associated Builders and Contractor’s (ABC) National Excellence in Construction award program at the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando, Fla. seemed like Hollywood for the construction industry. In its 21st year, the ceremony recognizes outstanding quality and innovation in merit shop construction projects. With more than 500 people in attendance and many of the most prominent names in our industry present, it truly was a night to remember.

Faith Technologies was privileged to be involved in the ONEOK Field project in Tulsa, Okla. The project won an Eagle award in the Electrical-Commercial/Between $2-$10 Million category. The Eagle award is the most prestigious ABC project recognition. It was the project team, lead by Manhattan Construction, which made this an award-winning project. Tulsa Branch Manager, Ben McCord, was in attendance to accept the award on behalf of Faith Technologies. This award proudly represents the hard work of each and every employee that was critical to the success of this project.

The evening was capped off by the Building a Better Tomorrow Award, which was given to ABC’s Oklahoma Chapter for their construction of the $1.3 million headquarters for Fold of Honor Foundation. An inspirational Major Dan Rooney, the Fold of Honor Foundation founder, was extremely grateful for ABC’s support of his foundation to help military families with education support.

It was a very nice evening, one to celebrate ABC member’s contributions and reflect on the great construction industry we are part of. Thank you ABC for a memorable evening.
