Faces of Faith Technologies | Meet Tyler, Electrical Apprentice

At Faith Technologies, we have some amazing employees who make our culture unique. The Faces of Faith Technologies series aims to highlight the talented individuals who work with us. Each month, we’ll introduce you to several of these individuals so you can get to know the ‘Faces of Faith Technologies.’ We recently talked to Tyler Blanton, an Electrical Apprentice Indentured – Year 2 from our Nashville, TN branch. Here’s what he had to say:

What led you to work for Faith Technologies?

I worked with a friend and we both worked for a different company. He left and went to work for Faith, and he called me two months later and said, “This is a great company and you need to come work for us.” So, I came and joined the Faith team.

How has your position changed over time?

I started out as a Level Two Helper. In the couple years I’ve been here, I’ve learned a lot about the job and electrical work, and I’ve worked with a lot of different people.

What does your position entail?

I’m an Apprentice – Year Two, and I do a lot of things on the job, including troubleshooting and wiring lighting units and circuits for a variety of applications and settings

What are some of your favorite things about your job?

I really enjoy electrical work.

What are some of your hobbies or interests outside of work?

I like to bass fish, and I enjoy both bow and rifle deer hunting.

What’s your why?

The big thing now is making sure I make it home to my little girl and my fiancé. I need to make sure I can keep providing for them and give them the best life that I can.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I would like to own a house and get out of an apartment. Hopefully, I will earn my journeyman’s license and become an electrician. I’d also like to be a foreman and oversee a crew in time.
