Faith Technologies: 2018 Year in Review

Happy New Year from Faith Technologies! As we look forward to another exciting year in 2019, we couldn’t help but also look back at the stories we shared in 2018. We’re very fortunate to have so many knowledgeable team members who are willing to share their time and insights with our blog readers. Judging by our readership analytics, it appears you’re appreciating the content they’re providing, as well.

Some of our most popular topics and posts from 2018 are outlined below.

Renewable Energy: Faith Technologies continues to make strides in Renewable Energy, and our blog posts on this subject were well received. Charlie Fredrickson, Faith’s VP of Product Development, contributed posts on changes in the power industry, and Faith’s mobile microgrid appearance at EAA AirVenture 2018.

Safety: Safety is one of our core values at Faith, and we’re fortunate to have several members of our safety team as blog authors. We were proud to share some of the strides we continue to make thanks to our manufacturing efforts, and the safety training we provide during our annual training weeks. In the spring we also kicked off our ‘What’s Your Why?’ safety campaign, keeping safety on the forefront for our employees on and off the job.

Talent Development and the Skilled Labor Shortage: The current shortage of craft workers is a concern across the nation. Faith Technologies is battling the skilled-labor crisis in several ways, including through our nationally accredited apprenticeship program. Here, apprentices are able to learn a trade through Faith’s electrical or technician programs, and earn while they learn. Jill Hermans, Faith’s VP of Talent, also shared information about the importance of the employee experience in developing and retaining employees.

Productivity and Logistics: Faith continues to make productivity strides far ahead of industry standards. Our team discussed how we engage our workforce in our productivity Kaizen efforts, and our material handling innovations.

Leadership: Faith continues to grow and develop our leaders, who strive to stay current on strategic partnerships, leadership trends and more. Our article about tiger teams shared valuable steps in developing effective teams. The importance of branding and culture were outlined in a piece from Kelly Chartré, Faith’s Director of Marketing.

As we begin the New Year, we look forward to sharing with you some new topics that align with Faith’s strategic direction, including connected buildings, industrial automation, and our continued focus on industry career paths. We welcome any comments or suggestions you may have, and thank you for your readership and support.
