Faith Technologies Participates in Energy Storage Global Innovation Forum

Faith Technologies prides itself on being on the cutting edge of energy technology, and we were proud to sponsor and participate in the recent Mid-West Energy Research Consortium (M-WERC) Energy Storage Global Innovation Forum in Milwaukee, WI. I represented Faith in a roundtable panel discussion entitled Behind-the-Meter Energy Storage. Steven Neiland, Faith’s director of energy solutions and Travis Leanna, electrical engineer, moderated several discussion sessions at the forum. Faith Technologies supported the event and it was the perfect way to showcase how the company is leading the industry in energy innovation.

The main factor driving energy providers to evaluate options for grid-scale and distributed energy storage is the need to support the rapid growth of solar and wind power, integrate distributed energy resources and drive system efficiencies.

In partnership with Schneider Electric, we launched a clean-energy microgrid at the Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve in Appleton, WI, that uses many of these technological advancements in energy storage. This latest project fell in line perfectly with the topics of this year’s forum, which included advances in grid-level and on-site storage, business models for various deployment scenarios, and success strategies for stakeholders across the energy spectrum.

In attendance at the event were utility executives and energy provider network managers, commercial and industrial energy planners, battery suppliers and energy storage technology innovators, power control system and software vendors, regulators and public policy professionals, solar PV, wind power and renewable energy companies and many others who play a part in the energy storage profession.

As a leading expert on energy storage, Faith Technologies was able to emphasize our innovative technology and the lessons we learned through implementing it. We also discussed energy trends and how we are positioned to continue to lead the industry.

This two-day event was a tremendous opportunity to showcase the many innovative and forward-thinking minds we have at work at Faith every day and how our employees’ dedication and commitment to excellence is helping us stay on the cutting edge of these emerging technologies.
