Faith Technologies Project Spotlight: SECURA Insurance

On September 30, 2019, Faith Technologies officially completed work on SECURA Insurance’s beautiful new headquarters building in Neenah, Wis. This 290,000-square-foot project has been more than three years in the making, and its success is a testament to the many advantages Faith can bring to a project through early involvement.

As noted in a previous blog, Faith was involved in the early review and analysis of the project’s power distribution including feeder materials, routing, redundancy, distribution equipment and generator sizing and quantity, which led to removal of $1.5 million from the budget by applying industry best practices.

Our scope of work for the project included the following:

  • AV Design-Assist
  • Electrical Design-Assist
  • Electrical Installation
  • Fire Alarm Design
  • Low Voltage Installation
  • Low Voltage Systems Design-Assist
  • PV System Design
  • Security Design-Assist

Additionally, one of the stand-out features of SECURA’s new complex is the ground-mount solar field on the site. Not included in the original building plans, Faith presented the opportunity to incorporate a renewable energy option to support SECURA’s power needs. The solar field is part of a wildflower prairie west of the building, flanked by the site’s walking path. The original cost outlay has a return on investment (ROI) of less than seven years, based on energy savings along with Focus-on-Energy dollars and energy tax rebates of more than $800,000, which Faith procured for SECURA. “Since the date we chose Faith Technologies as a partner in August 2017, Faith has brought great people to our project that care about and take pride in the work they do,” said Clint Dusenbery, SECURA facility manager. “As a project manager, I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to work with. Their responsiveness, courtesy and willingness to go above and beyond are really something special.”

Faith was also very proud to have been selected as a Gold-level award winner in the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin Projects of Distinction Excellence in Construction competition for our work on the SECURA project! Awards will be distributed at the annual banquet in February. A huge congratulations to the Faith team involved in this project. We wish SECURA continued success in their new home.
