Future Engineers Excel in Summer Internship Program

Intern1This summer, Faith Technologies’ engineering department had five interns who worked closely with the teams at our Appleton, Lenexa, Madison, Menasha, and Milwaukee branch locations. The interns came to us from engineering programs at Boise State University, Kansas State University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and University of St. Thomas (in St. Paul, MN), and used AutoCAD 2014 and Revit MEP to develop power distribution and lighting designs for a variety of project types including: data centers, high rise apartments, food processing plants, and industrial facilities.

Faith Technologies’ engineering internship program is designed to play an important role in the company’s recruiting, staffing, and leadership development efforts. It provides the organization the ability to supplement our full-time engineering staff with current engineering students, and provides participants with practical work experience and hands-on business perspective that prepare them for their future careers.

Interns that participate in our program generally have completed the first two or three years of their undergraduate program in Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology, and are selected because they are recognized as having top academic standing with exceptional leadership, communication, and self-motivation skills.

It was truly an honor to have them on board, and it is our goal for the summer of 2015 to expand the engineering department’s internship opportunities even further. Please visit our company’s website career page and see for yourself why our internship program is not your average daily grind. We will be actively seeking interns on college campuses this fall, so interested candidates should be brought to our attention by January 2015.
